Don't Miss the San Joaquin County Fair!
Don't miss the San Joaquin County Fair in Stockton! You know what that means. Lots of food, fun and merrymaking for everyone! It began yesterday, June 16th, and continues on until Sunday, June 20th. What a fun way to spend Father's Day. Along with the tons of food vendors on hand, you can see the livestock exhibits, horse racing, carnival rides and live entertainment. Bring the kids down tonight because all children 12 & under as well as seniors get
in for free on June 17th. Musical guests at the Main Stage include:
June 17th - Sawyer Brown
June 18th - Kool & The Kang
June 19th - Tower of Power
June 20th - Lupillo Rivera
All concerts start at 8pm. While these shows are free with your fair admission ticket, seats are first come/first served and seating is limited. So, there's no guarantee you'll be able to get in to see any of the musical acts. Make sure you line up early!
There will be horse racing daily, with first post at 12:45pm. And the Cool Zone is an area just for the kids that includes a petting zoo, kids' tractor pulls, tales of the Wild West, clowns, marrionettes and more. For a full calendar of events, please click here.
Tickets are $9 for adults, $5 for kids over 5 and free to kids 5 and under. For $25, you can purchase a carnival coupon, which is good for any one day visit until 11pm and gets you your choice of a wristband (which allows you unlimited amounts of rides) or 30 tickets (rides typically cost between 2 and 5 tickets each). The fair is open from noon to 10pm every day. So don't miss the San Joaquin County Fair! It'll be over before you know it!
